Hi I'm new to recording games and streaming
I bought an elgato HD60 S game capture and started recording my games with it
At first it was complicated but using obs software helped me out
And at the last video I recorded I noticed that the preview screen started flashing green colors
That was 4 days ago and now the preview screen is full of green blurr and I can't figure it out
I looked it up and found only one who has been through a problem like this and he couldn't solve it
I tried pulling the USB cord but again nothing happened
I pulled everything and nothing happened , tried uninstall the obs and nothing happened
The reason I think the problem is from the program is because when I used the elgato software all the green blurr were gone
But when I'm back to the obs the preview screen is covered with green blurr and the output videos are all in green
Can someone help me

That's trippy...

So you're able to pull an image using the elgato software no problem? And you don't have the elgato software up when using OBS, correct?

What resolution and framerate is the device that you're trying to capture? Are you leaving the HD60s on its default settings, or are you setting a custom resolution/framerate?

at first i thought maybe the elgato software made a problem so that this green color would appear in the obs so after i tested it it worked fine and there was a green color on the preview screen of the elgato but the output video was fine so i uninstalled it and nothing happened .
i'm trying to capture my ps4 and the resolution is 1920x1080 and 60FPS and i have a custom setting in the obs to allow me to capture such quality although i tried changing the settings in the obs but still nothing happened...

Wait a second... "there was a green color on the preview screen of the elgato but the output video was fine".

That is to say, in the preview window you're seeing the garbled image, but in the recording everything looks fine? That means you're running into a display vs. rendering issue.

Try setting OBS to use the Intel GPU instead of your Nvidia 920M.
It solved it Thank you so much
The green blurr is gone and everything returned to normal in the obs but when i reinstalled the elgato software it just kept lagging and it crashed eventually but idon't use it so who cares...
But the obs is fine and normal and is back running smoothly
Really thank you so much
