Question / Help Great Upload Speed But Fluctuating Connection | Frame Drops | HELP!

OK! So let me start with saying that for the last weeks or so i had been streaming at 4000-5000 bit-rate CBR and had a stable connection with almost no fluctuation and no frame drops and great quality so life was great. In the last 3 days my speeds/bit-rate have dropped to 1700-2500 with MASSIVE fluctuations and 30-50% frame drops.

The twitch server i connect to (Australia: Sydney) is working fine but i did try to stream to a few other servers to see if it was my local server but same issue on other servers. I have run multiple test and tried different rate controls just to see if it would make a difference but nothing...

I contacted my ISP and they told me everything is running fine from there end and there isn't much they could do after a 3 hour phone call. I did ask if they shape the connecting to twitch but they said they do not (had to ask) .

I have tested my upload speed to other platforms and everything seems to be ok but twitch has just ahhh...

Everything was working fine then in the last 3 days its just been a nightmare, i have seen similar post to this but never any solutions PLEASE ANYONE HELP ME!!!

Not streaming over wireless
Tried another streaming service (Just as a test)
Checked your firewall / router / antivirus / network software
Updated Network Adapter Driver

That is almost absolutely the ISP's problem, assuming that you don't have a problem with your own router or wiring.

Is performance also degraded on other platforms?

That's what i keep telling them.

Performance is fine on other platforms, small drops but nothing serious

As a workaround... try using restream.io, and just link your Twitch account and nothing else? If the performance problem is only directly to Twitch, either as a result of intentional traffic shaping by the ISP or some technical problem, but it doesn't affect other platforms, then that might be a way of avoiding it.

Restream worked for me... bitrate no longer fluctuates and stream looks great on twitch once again. Though the bitrate box in OBS is still on RED as if it was unstable when it isn't. Thanks for the help. I'm still having a comcast technician come in though.. maybe they would know what is causing this connection error with my pc to the Twitch server I always connect to.
