I have just gotten into twitch and everything was going well. i have been able to flawlessly stream games from my 4k monitor in its native resolution (downscaled to 720p on twitch). Then today I decided to add in a feed from my logitech webcam. Got a brand new driver and everything. The issue is that as soon as I open the webcam feed while the game is open and running, the webcam suddenly becomes horribly stuttery almost to the point of a slideshow.
Today is my first day adding the webcam and the biggest change I made in between was adding a second monitor. Despite the second monitor, the gameplay still looks absolutely perfect in OBS. It is ONLY the webcam that stutters. When i did things like lower the in-game fps or graphics options, it DID help the issue somewhat. Especailly lowering the in-game fps. But I am so confused because I confidently assumed my rig could handle high quality graphics AND the stream. I even had to lower the game resolution to 1080p! Eventually I opened the webcam outside of obs while running a game and it does the same thing. So it is technically not OBS related.
My question is...Whats the deal? Do i need another to sli another gtx 1070 for more power or am i missing something painfully obvious? Also, side note, my cpu is not even close to hitting its max during this so i know that it is not the issue.
