Question / Help Gray areas

Hi, I am streaming and recording Minecraft but whenever I do there is a gray area around the edges in preview and then it comes out like a big black border around the recording. Is there a way I can remove that?

What are you using to play back the recordings? The gray areas in that screenshot aren't part of the OBS recording, they are just empty space for you to move things around in case you need to move it outside the main canvas area. If you're playing back the video on a strictly 16:9 player, though, you'll get "black bars" on the sides because you're not recording at a 16:9 resolution.
