Graphic Memory Usage

Good morning ! Sorry for my not very good English, I'm French! I have many sources and scenes in my OBS. I have a PC dedicated to streaming, with a 4060 TI and an I9 9700K, juste for streaming. I was trying to optimize my PC for more fluidity, and there, I realized the use of the dedicated graphics processor memory of my Nvidia graphic card is hudge, as soon as I launch OBS, without even launching the 'encoding! It's so huge, isn't it? Why such a high value? Thank you, if you have any ideas and advice.... Is this normal ?

OBS itself doesn't need that much memory. But some features inside may use huge amounts: Media sources, browser sources, huge amounts of scenes (every scene has its own internal frame buffer).
Check your media sources and see what changes if you deselect "use hardware decoding". You can also configure media sources to close if inactive, may be they're freeing GPU resources with that as well.

All my media sources are close if inactive. If i deselect "use hardware decoding", what is the différence when i lunch them ? It the CPU dat is working instead of the GPU ?

OK. I'v check a lot of options ! On of the thing dat is taking A LOT of memroy usage is my stinger transitions. Play with this :

You can choose here if you want to "preload" in RAM the stinger. If you préfer in the Graphic card or in the "classic'" RAM. If you uncheck all, it will be the CPU dat is working when you use the stinger. So, WARNIG if you have multiple stinger, it is using A LOT of memory.
