Hi Guys!

Just wanted to check in with you people of you can help me out on my vid quality. I just recently got into streaming and I watched other channels and it seems like my stream is grainy compared to others.

Clip of my stream

Clip of someone else's stream

Using OBS Studio and below are my settings with process priority set to Normal. Also using a 6700k not overclocked. Trying to stream at 720p @ 60FPS

Video Settings
Base Res: 1080
Scaled Res: 720
Downscale Filter: Lanczos
FPS Value: 60

Output (didn't set any rescale and enforce streaming service encoder settings is unchecked)
Encoder: x264
Rate control: CBR
Bitrate: 2500
Keyframe Interval: 2
CPU usage: very fast
Profile: main
x264 Options: opencl=true

Hope you guys can help me out on this.

Thanks!!!

Base resolution is the size of your canvas
Rescaled resolution is what you stream/record

Game source: you capture your game and you can stretch it to cover all canvas,

As all your canvas is rescaled, you do not need to rescale any element: game, window, screen browser.....
You insert elements and resize with the mouse to desired size, for example, to fit your overlay.

Thanks EBrito! I'll try out some settings and do a recording and see if you can tell if the settings is good for a 720p res.
