Question / Help Gradually increasing delay with GV-USB2?

Hi, I'll try to be as concise as possible.

Due to a lack of options within standard OBS, it was suggested by a friend of mine that I download OBS Studio, as I was told that it was capable of doing what I wanted it to do. Needless to say, OBS studio was able to satisfy my wishes, and if it wasn't for the issue I'm having now, well...

I'm experiencing gradually increasing video delay. For anyone wondering, I'm using OBS Studio 0.12.3 (32 bit, AmaREC wouldn't appear in the video capture devices if I'm using 64 bit). Before recommending a newer version, I've tried 0.13.1, and 0.13.2. With all three, the delay persists. Initially when I start my stream, it'll be fine. However, after about an hour or so, it'll have reached a point where the video is nearly 5 seconds behind the audio, and in more extreme cases, it's gone up to 8-9 seconds.

I am aware that you can set a video delay, but this only works temporarily.

I'm not sure if this is related to audio output discrepancies between OBS and OBS Studio, or if any such discrepancies even exist, but it's much more pleasant if I'm able to stream with the privilege of being able to listen to music, without it being heard on stream (if there's any way of achieving this via OBS, let me know :p).

Also, if there's any information necessary that I neglected to include, I'll do my best to answer any questions,

Thanks!

Edit:
lol, apparently this is just referred to as "async"? and not an actual issue with the capture card? Regardless, is there any way to prevent it?

when posting logs, please:
  1. make a record
  2. stop it, don't close OBS Studio
  3. upload current log-file
  4. close OBS Studio.
Also, can you measure the delay. Video length and delay, precise as you can. (don't switch off capture device, don't reboot it, while making a recording)

The delay progressively builds.. how would you like me to measure it? I'll post a log file as soon as I have the time.

60 minutes of video recording, delay = ? seconds. Or, just simply, how you deal with fps = 29.7;30;59.4;60;25;24; what fps has your capture card in digital output? What you define in capture, and so on...

I made a mistake in the description, there's an audio delay, not video.

Something I just did may have fixed the issue, I'll update in a little bit. I output at 30 fps.
