Question / Help Gradual Audio Desync (OBS Classic works fine)

Hey guys,

We're experiencing some dramatic audio desync upward of 2-3 seconds that creeps up gradually throughout the stream.

This doesn't happen when we use OBS Classic, but OBS Classic doesn't have the ability to leave out desktop audio from recorded files, which is really important for YouTube highlights.

It happens every OBS Studio stream without fail, but the amount of time before delay becomes a problem varies.
On the recordings it seems as though the audio delay doesn't happen ever. Today's recording was perfectly in sync.

We're using an Zoom H4N as the audio source.

I've attached a log from today.

Thank you guys in advance for any help you can give me!

0.14.2 is a very old version. Update to 0.16.6 (0.16.3 included a workaround for W10 AU)
Use OBS 64 bits.

Maybe this solve your issue

Using 0.16.6 same issue.
The stream starts normally, but the longer I stream the longer the sound goes desync.
About 1 s every hour, so if I've been streaming for about 4 hours the sound gets behind about 4-5 seconds, and is not just the mic, but the overall sound.

May this issue be related to the Windows10 Anniversary Update problem? Because I recently started suffering the green frames issues too.

Hey guys! For what it's worth I have the EXACT same issue using OBS Studio 0.16.6 and an Elgato HD60. After only 2 minutes the audio is out of sync from the video. I'm running Windows 7 Pro so this is not an issue exclusive to Windows 10. I'm not too sure if I'm using the CoreAudio encoder but I have iTunes and QuickTime installed and I use them. I've attached my most recent log file so hopefully someone here can let me know if I'm using that encoder but even if I am, the issue is still present. Really hope this issue is fixed as I love OBS Studio and it's potential!
