so... when I try to start streaming it doesn't let me.. I can record just fine but when I start streaming, the message "Starting the output failed. Please check the log for details" pops up.

I did that and it says it recognizes my card in the beginning, however when I try to set the GPU value on settings to anything other than 0 it doesnt let me. (https://gist.github.com/b4e1d0bc77fffe7712a2c38e951384aa) i tested changing the value on this one and still the same

The whole point is using my GTX 1060 for encoding while my 1080 is used for everything else and I just dont understand what I need to do in order for this to work D; (and no I cant use the 1080 for encoding and streaming it generates too much lagg)

thank you for your help :3
Have a nice day!

You need to use only 1 GPU for encoding and streaming. I assume you are using an external GPU, you should be using the GPU that is in your laptop.

Using multiple GPU's is extremely inefficient.

yes i do have a razer blade laptop (with the 1060) and the razer core attached to it (with the 1080), my objective all along would be using one gpu for gaming and the other for everything stream related (1080 for game and 1060 for stream) however it doesnt let me select the gtx 1060 as the gpu for encoding as it gives me that message of error
