GPU limit remove

We all know it and we all hate it. In some Games there is just no possibility to limit the frames. So you run into issues with lagging Streams because of 100% GPU load while streaming. I know, that this is related to the arcitecture of OBS. You need some GPU performance (even if you stream via CPU (x264)), so if the Game takes all of your GPU performance, your stream will lagging.
So this times this is one of the main reasons why streamers buy dedicated gaming and streaming PCs. Will there be an update in the future, where this problem get's solved? Im at the point, where im thinking to invest in a dedicated streaming PC, but when there will be an update, that solves that problem, I wouldn't have to buy a second PC. So would be nice to know :)

Windows does not provide a solid and consistent way for OBS to announce its GPU priority. We've tried it, and often it resulted in worse performance.

The solution is to lower your game settings just enough to give OBS some breathing room, or for Microsoft to provide APIs that allow OBS to use a bit more GPU. However, even if they did, this could cause your game to try and push more frames than it is allowed to and result in weird frame stutters.

That being said, Windows 10 1809 with all Windows Updates and Windows 10 1903 should have less issues when it comes to high GPU usage, as Microsoft made updates to Game Mode that try to give OBS more breathing room. If you're on either of these versions, be sure to enable Game Mode in the Windows 10 Settings app.
