Question / Help GPU Being used even when not recording/Streaming

Hey guys. love the new upgrade.

I have set it to use Integrated GPU for rendering. and right after i open the app it uses GPU (20-25%)

On the old build it was close to 0% (only the Windows is rendered at this time) and when we start to record it goes up to 40% or whatever according to settings.

On the new build when recording it goes up to almost double amount. (60%) i guess its doing double work?

Is there anyway to fix it?
#tried disabling preview

Thank you.

The program is technically always rendering, and most of what the program does is done on the GPU. I could make some tweaks so that it doesn't do any rendering at all unless an output and/or secondary display is active.

Ideally it's nice to have a dedicated GPU for it though, the power of those integrated chips are limited, and it can often affect encoding as well surprisingly.

i am on a laptop lol. and i play games on Nvidia and record them with intel.. its a good setup. if you can tweak it, please do. but why is the usage so high just for an app? the app is rendered on intagrated but 20-30% usage? lol. its an Intel HD 3000. an old chip but still games run on it. an app is not suppose to use that much power when idle common.. :|

Anyway thank you. please tweak it :)

Hi, i have the same issue, but the weird thing it's that if i select CPU encoding, i still get GPU usage even if i'm not recording/streaming.
