My stream got glitched after a while
Hello guys. I’ve got a very strange problem, and I don’t know how to fix it. First of all, I started streaming some time ago and have tried a lot of games so far. Some of them are really demanding, but I’ve got a nice system with these specs: 13700K, RTX 4090, 32 GB RAM.
When I was streaming using my 2K Samsung G6, I had almost zero issues. However, I occasionally encountered inexplicable crashes in some games (like Escape from Tarkov), forcing me to reboot the entire system. But 95% of the time, everything worked fine.
Then my G6 died, and I switched to a 4K 240Hz QD-OLED monitor. Since then, my streaming issues have become endless. I’ve tried reinstalling the system and software, but nothing helped. The main problem now is that I experience massive lag —sometimes only on the stream/recording, and sometimes both the game and stream lag simultaneously, dropping to ~5 FPS. There’s no logical reason for this.
The only clue I’ve noticed is that my GPU utilization is consistently near 100%, regardless of the game—whether it’s Miside or the new Indiana Jones with maxed-out settings.
The other day, I tried streaming Desperados 3 and encountered strange glitches. Suddenly, I experienced audio glitches and FPS drops only on the stream/recording (the game itself ran smoothly). I didn’t notice until an hour later. After tweaking settings and restarting OBS, the stuttering temporarily stopped, only to reappear later without any changes on my end. This drives me crazy!
I thought the issue might be NVIDIA Broadcast (used for background removal), but today I tested Cyberpunk 2077 with and without it. Surprisingly, there were almost zero dropped frames in both scenarios (like 0,1%).
I can share a VOD of the Desperados stream to show what I mean. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
