Question / Help Google Hangouts Video Not Working

I'm having an issue suddenly with OBS. I do interviews using Google Hangouts & the video from the ongoing call just started not showing up. Just a black screen. I can still see the microphone, phone & camera in the bottom & everything else that appears on the screen, just not the video. My hardware acceleration is off too, always has been. Windows capture will capture the video if I have Hangouts displayed over OBS, but as soon as I click on the OBS window the video cuts out on Hangouts in OBS. Any idea why?

Haven't had any issue with this until now. Really need to get this fixed ASAP!! I've tried using Skype before but for some reason the video doesn't work on that as well.

For some reason, OBS Virtual Cam doesn't show in Skype.

And here's something that's even more odd. When I take OBS out of a full window, my Google Hangouts video appears. But if the OBS window covers the Hangouts window, the video disappears.

And if I click on another window that is in full screen the Hangouts video disappears as well.

Thanks for the response. Figured it out on my own. Chrome did some shady stuff this week. Glad this forum could help out.

I am facing the same problem with the 26.0.2 version, what did you do to fix it, Please help?

I ended up just switching to Discord.
