Question / Help Good stream settings

I wanted to start streaming but I'm not 100% sure on the best settings to use. I've been messing about with different stuff, changing the encoders, bitrates, the lot but there's either pixelisation, choppiness, or some other problem.

Trying to stream FPS game (Rust, potentially other FPS games) - 720p@30fps

Spec:
GTX 1070
i5-6600K @ 3.5GHz
16GB Ram

Network:
Download: 160 Mbps
Upload: 12Mpbs

Use the x264 encoder NVENC encoder looks terrible at low bitrates.

You should just use simple settings with a bitrate from 2500-3500, encoder software x264, audio bitrate 128 or 160.

Stream at 720p30 like you are.
