Hello everyone! So i want to start streaming a little bit. And i'm planing on doing that on Youtube Gaming since i don't like Twitch.tv... So i have set-up my OBS with NVENC since i have GTX960, and i don't want to use my CPU for video encoding... But compared to x264 with same settings quality is so bad... Anyone know how to improve my settings?

PC SPECS:
1.CPU: Intel Xeon E3 1230 3.2Ghz (3.6Ghz turbo)
2.RAM: Kingston 32GB DDR3
3.GPU: Gigabyte Geforce GTX960 2GB OC

Any tips would be highly appreciated!

The only way is to GREATLY increase the bitrate... and even then it'll sometimes choke when x264 doesn't.

You're almost always better off using x264 for streaming bitrates.

As you rescale in video settings, leave output settings "rescalew output" unchecked. You are rescaling twice.

I use a GTX750 ti 1600x900 rescaled to 720p 30 FPS 3500 Kbps Profile High and image is very good (of course, x264 will be better but not very much. NVENC is now very good encoder)

So, with your settings you will have very good image.
