Going live with an older Sony camera

My church wants to use an older Sony HVR-HD1000U camera in order to broadcast events using Facebook or YouTube Live. Is is even possible to use that camera, connected to a computer, to broadcast live events. Would I need some kind of special interface software/hardware?

You'd need a capture card capable of connecting to the video outputs of the camera.
