Hi all,
I've searched on here but nothing seems to be specific to my particular problem, so apologies if this is a problem.
In short, I have my PTT hotkey set to (left) ALT. There are not other hotkeys set, and I have never used a PTM button. However, for some reason every time I am using ALT to PTT, if I hit Shift, regardless of application in focus, the microphone immediately mutes.
I have checked for audio ducking and as far as I can tell there is no relation to that.
Is this a known problem in the latest patch (it didn't happen before) or am I missing something. Please rest assured that although I have some OBS experience, my checking and double checking of possible conflicting Hotkeys has been exhaustingly carried out. There is no reason in Windows 10 settings I can find for this to be happening. I have also tried with other bound keys to PTT and the issue persists regardless. So something in me thinks that OBS is for whatever reason thinking I am PTM with shift.
Could someone please help or point me to an existing solved problem thread?
Thank you all so much.
**EDIT** When I use SHIFT as the PTT it works without muting.
