Question / Help Getting Setup

Hello All,
  • I have been tasked with setting up a stream to YouTube/Facebook and have a couple questions. I am going to need to run 3 camera angles and the hardware I am planning to use is as follows:
    • Late 2016 MacBook Pro with an i7 and Radeon Pro 460
    • 2 Canon DSLRs running clean HDMI out to Magewell XI100DUSB-HDMI HDMI to USB 3.0 Video Capture Dongles
    • 1 Ubiquiti G3 Surveillance camera with an RTSP stream
  • I am wondering if, with all cameras set to output 1080p 30fps if my 2016 MBP will be able to keep up. The internet connection will not be an issue.
  • Any help and guidance in this would be appreciated. I have about 2 months to get this ROCK SOLID.

I think you're going to get rendering lag but assuming you have all the equipment available to you now you could test it faster than I could say so.

DSLRs make mediocre but expensive webcams.

Thank you for your reply!! The lynchpin that was missing was the capture cards, but they arrive tomorrow, so I can test over the weekend.
I would use purpose-built webcams, but the subjects that will be on video will be moving, and too far away from the camera. Lenses and operators are necessary.
