I have some Lua scripts that I submitted a month ago and am wondering how long does it usually take for this process. In the month since, one script was downloaded once and the other not at all. I submitted three other scripts prior to these two and they were approved in a matter of days. I know this is all run by volunteers, but maybe there's another process that should be tried. Maybe a beta scripts and plugin section where they can be uploaded and anyone can download, try them, and comment on them, before officially being approved, with the caveat that you use them at your own risk.
Would I be banned if I simply attached my scripts to a post so others could try them? I uploaded a custom script for a particular forum member's request and wasn't banned.
