Question / Help Getting less than 30 FPS in OBS in games and in need of help.

Hello, and thanks for taking a look at this thread.

I am a complete and utter OBS novice, even though I have been using it for more than a year to stream. About 4 months ago I did away with my PC/Laptop streaming setup and built a new rig that was designed to both game and stream on simultaneously.

Below is a picture of my setup:

And my computer specs:

Now on to my issue...

Please keep in mind my ignorance of OBS. Many of the games I play should not have an issue streaming at 60 FPS, but for some reason, it struggles to hit 30 FPS in games like Assassin's Creed Syndicate or the newly released ELEX. With Destiny 2 coming up this next Tuesday, I wish to stream it at 60 FPS as well.

Any and all help would be most welcome.

Here is my OBS Log from last Friday's stream:

Thanks again,
BloodEagle

I am not a pro when it comes to hardware and streaming but i think you may have to unplug one or two of your 1080p monitors. GTX 1070 is a solid GPU and should be able to handle up to four 1080p monitors, but as your main monitor runs on a 1440p resolution, which is a bit higher, i believe that it is too much to handle while encoding. Try streaming or recording with one or two of your 1080p monitors unplugged and see if it helps. Other than that i can't find anything else in the log file. Maybe some more experienced people here can help you further.

Thanks so much for the reply. Attempted that yesterday afternoon as a test run with 2 of my upper monitors removed and still had the same issues. I appreciate the help.

Perhaps I will get lucky and an OBS GURU will take notice of my thread.
