General question: Copyright and trademark

So I was driving to work today and I saw this guy's truck with his company logo on, needless to say I was a bit confused as it was the OBS logo, flipped/rotated and just used for himself. I know OBS is open source and all, but surely people can't just use the OBS logo for their own private businesses?

Thought I'd mention it here as I'm not sure if anyone from the team would see an issue with it or what the legality of this instance is.

Cheers!

Image is rather has other origin :) But anyway, what the point? It is free. You cannot claim rights on it. You don't have any exclusive rights. And so on.
Edit: No restrictions = no trade = no one interests harmed.

I'm more curious than anything really. Know nothing about the legality of copyrighted logos and open source companies and such. Also not sure what people's attitudes towards these kinds of scenarios are.
