I am generally just posting because I am looking for the optimal settings I should be running my OBS stream encoder and video output on to see little to no degraded gameplay performance. I've tried x264 encoder with 1280x720 output at 3k bit rate, and I use medium CPU preset. Sometimes I feel like I am still experiencing some "lethargic" gameplay. I say lethargic because it doesnt feel like I lose frames, as I am still hovering between 150-180 in Fortnite/Apex/etc, but the gameplay feels like it slows down at moments and really hinders my performance. I feel as tho my computer specs are pretty viable so I am looking for some advice on what settings I should be using.
