I am running a 3 monitor setup, with one 1080p60, and 2 1440p144 monitors, and have the games on the GSync 1440p144 monitor. I have OBS set for a canvas of 2560x1440 and an output of 12560x1440 limiting frame capture to 60FPS, as well as A Way Out set for borderless windowed to the desktop resolution (I even tried it on fullscreen set to 2560x1440).
The problem I had was red boxes appeared in the margins and garbled video was my preview, and it also recorded as such. So I stumbled around in the settings and after enabling transparency, I got rid of the redness, but the aspect ratio is still off, and the video is still unwatchable.
I opened up CS:GO in 2560x1440 borderless windowed, and had no issues.
I opened Payday 2 in fullscreen 2560x1440p and similarly had no issues
I tried recording with Shadowplay and noticed no issues other than localized artifacting near the pilot's hair.
Is there a setting that I am overlooking, or has EA designed the game to be unrecordable by OBS?
