Gaming audio cutting out 10 minutes into recording

First things first, I'm using an M1 Macbook Air and Blackhole to bus my internal audio.
Everything seems to work when I'm doing gameplay until I play back the file. About 8 to 10 minutes in, the game audio gets statickey and phases out, not through my headphones but on the recording. I've look at the stats and this isn't stressing out my Macbook, I've double checked the bitrate on all my devices, recorded in 48kHz and 44.1kHz, changed the output file format, reinstalled OBS and used Blackhole 16ch and 2ch; nothing seems to fix this.
What's more frustrating is I just learned it's not my internal audio, as Chrome, Itunes, Mail, etc all still have functional audio in the same recording. It is exclusively my emulator apps (Aether, OpenEmu and Dolphin). I can record playing music, streaming Youtube and SNES on OpenEmu at the same time, and the playback gives me everything except the OpenEmu audio.
Does anyone have an idea of what's going on or has had this issue?
