Question / Help gameplay delay

on my twitch stream for call of duty when i go to shoot my gun the shooting sound comes first then the actual bullets being shot will appear on stream. another mod asked me what my line in cable is being used for on stream and my line in is being used to hear party chat on console and skype, etc on pc. please help me ASAP

You have an Elgato Game Capture HD. They're well known for delays when streaming. Use the Mixer within OBS, right above Sources, the Config Button, to compensate your audio lag for your video. It believe it's about 500ms. See if that fixes it :-)

ive tried every number under the sun, it wont work
