hello, i need to use some kind of "remote" with really big buttons for OBS to switch scenes.

My talent is running a radio show and i need him to find buttons to change cameras/browser-windows without searching it on the keyboard.

Best will be if the feature could be inserted in OBS directly, but any linux related software app that makes the bridge would be apreciated ;-)

Yes, it is a good option but it still requires the focus to be on obs.

I wish OBS would support game controllers out of the box because it would be able to respond to the inputs regardless if OBS being in focus. I intend to select scenes with this device because messing about with my phone and remote socket was too clumsy.

I purchased this controller today. At $5 it was hardly a risk. I am using it on an old laptop running windows 10. It connects via bluetooth4 and via antimicro I was able to map the gamepad buttons to hotkeys that in turn control OBS. Although I also have websocket server installed, controlling OBS via my phone (wake up find the browser etc...) was tyoo awkward. Now I have this tiny device in my hand (2" long) and quickly switch scenes and manage a host of other functions.

The control at the top is a hat switch but is presented as two gamepad axis.

The only downside is that the controller goes to sleep after 10 minutes. Pressing the select and B button does however wake it up again.
