Question / Help Game only taking up partial stream area

Hello,

I have just started using OBS studio. I have tried to stream using both display capture and game capture and what happens is the same. My desktop resolution is 3840x2160, but I typically play most games at 2560x1440. What appears to happen is that OBS is still "capturing" 3840x2160 even though my screen resolution is 2560x1440, and my stream up to twitch has content located in the upper left hand corner taking roughly 50% of the stream area and then the rest is black.

I have dual GTX 770s and I'm using the NVIDIA HENC h264 encoder.

Has anyone else seen this?

Set base resolution to 2560x1440 from video settings
