Game muting issue using two monitors

Hi. I'm playing a PC game on one monitor and have OBS set up on a second monitor (using game capture). Whenever I click over to the second monitor to tinker with OBS (chats, transitions etc), the audio from the game cuts out, and doesn't kick back in until I click back within the first monitor with the game screen. How do you overcome that issue? I've tried various audio input options on OBS but can't work it out.

Did you make sure the game is set to continue playing its audio when it doesn't have focus?

Umm very good question, and I've absolutely no idea. Where is the setting to set focus?

It would need to be set in the game's audio settings most likely.

I don't know if I've ever seen that setting in a game, but having tried a few different ones within OBS now I realise you get very different results. Some games cut the audio when I click on the second monitor screen, others don't, others exit full screen, others need the windows key pressing to be able to flick over to the second monitor, all pretty random. The joy of PC games I guess. Thanks for the help.
