It almost looks like my games a bit laggy when I'm streaming, not bad and maybe it's because it's 60fps and I'm used to 120+? But it just doesn't seem like it's looking like great quality. My internet and hardware seem fine, I've tried both x.264 and NVENC.
My Hardware:
- Intel i7-9700k @3.60
- Rog Strix z390-e Gaming
- 16GB DDR4 Corasair Vengeance 3200
- Nvidia RTX 2070 XC Ultra Gaming
- HP Omen 27inch display (144hz, 1ms) Primary.
- Secondary (Because it sometimes matters?) BenQ 24inch and asus 24 inch both 60hz
Internet:
- 11ms
- 175mbps Download
- 12mbps Upload
My games don't seem to take a hit on performance when I'm running NVENC, I was trying to play CoD Blackout mode and getting some fps drop to about 60-90 instead of 120+ in game, but it was still playable. NVENC seems to feel smoother for my gameplay in general. I don't know how else to explain it other than my game just seems like the frames aren't even at 60fps when I view it. I've had friends look and say the same thing.
I do know that my cpu usage playing CoD and streaming is 100% trying out League of Legends it was nowhere near that, roughly 30% on league and about 15-20% on obs with x.264.
I literally have been messing with settings non-stop the past 2 days and I can't figure anything out that's working, I've tried adjust monitor refresh rate, resolution and tried doing things of that nature and it still didn't solve my issues. I have disabled preview on the second monitor so there's nothing actually running on that monitor other than the program, but I have heard that anything running on a 60hz secondary monitor can cause issue, and that certainly can be it too, but I'm not sure.
Any help to get this situated would be greatly appreciated. I feel my setup should be able to handle a decent stream (especially a game like league of legends).
