Question / Help Game lags when recording/streaming on a semi-high end system

Before I even go into anything, I have a laptop. I get a laptop is not optimal for streaming and/or recording but its all I have right now.

THE SPECS OF MY LAPTOP ARE:

  • GPU: GTX 970M
  • CPU: i7-5700HQ
  • RAM: 16GB
  • OS: Windows 10 Home 64-bit

Despite having a laptop I should not be having the problems I'm having currently unless there is a problem I have not noticed which is why I'm here. I attached my log file to the thread. Although I would love to not have to scale down my streams or recordings and have it at 60 FPS and all, unless there is something I'm missing, that isn't realistic so I have my FPS set to 48, scaling down my recording/streaming resolution, etc. That is all fine with me but even with my system being a laptop, I should not be getting an FPS drop in a range of 5-20 frames. It should be worth noting that my recordings come out fine. Its my frames when playing that are the problem.

Sorry for such a long thread! Thanks in advance!

1. Upgrade to 17.0.2
2. What is the deal with people trying to do 48fps? It makes no sense. Do 30, or 45 or 60, not 48.
3. The log you posted has no streaming or recording attempts, so nothing can be gleaned from it. We need a log with a recording and/or streaming attempt in it.

I upgrade, switched it to 45, and attached a new log.
