Question / Help Game lag

Hi all,

I have a problem with my streaming, I have 20Mbps upload speed on my cable connection (tested on Speedtest.net), though when I use OBS Studio I have it set it to less than 3500kbps stream otherwise I get periodic high pings in game, I check my network usage and it doesn't go above about 7.5mbps, so I was wondering if there is anything else I could be missing/do to be able to increase my stream bitrate? I want to stream at about 6000kbps for best image quality at 1280x800 60fps using Intel QuickSync.

I am streaming to Twitch, checked and can see now that 3500 is max bitrate. Oh well, though I'm not sure why setting a higher bitrate would cause the lag, the streams did work as well, as in Twitch played broadcast them. Thanks for the heads up though. Set to 3500 1280x800 60fps. I guess I will have to maximise the compression quality in the encoding settings to increase quality.
