Hi.
My firend have some trouble with FPS while use OBS.
While preview/record or stream game FPS gonna randomly stutter and I can not find any cause of that.
His PC is:
CPU - i7xxxx (do not know exact model but it have 8 threads)
RAM - 16GB
GPU - GTX 970
HDD - some SSD (sound odd ;p)
Game recorder - Avermedia C985 or something similar
He try to record World of warship, while playing game have stable 60FPS and CPU load maybe 25-30%
When he open OBS and turn on preview/record game FPS gonna stutter randomly to 30-40FPS independent on capture method (game capture, window capture or thru avermedia). OBS load CPU on 10-15% so here is alot of CPU reserve.
I try to use OBSx32, x64, OBS Studio, processor affinity, process priority and nothing help.
However while record using avermedia program it load CPU on 5-10% but FPS stay very stable but then here is no way to make any scene as in OBS.
Any clue why it happen?
PS. At this moment i'm unable to send any logs.
Thanks for reply.
