Question / Help Game Fine, Audio Fine, but Video Lags

So I'm new to OBS, and game recording in general, so I'm not sure what most of the settings do, and how much my laptop can handle. I tried recording once, and the resulting video had spot on great audio. But the video recording itself was laggy even though the game wasn't. So I would really appreciate if someone could suggest me some fixes to this. Thanks and Merry Christmas!

I think this is the log file:

I don't see an attempt on recording as the log doesn't say any frames encoded/skipped/lagged. That said...

01:49:25.210: CPU Name: AMD A4-6210 APU with AMD Radeon R3 Graphics
01:49:25.246: Adapter 1: AMD Radeon(TM) R3 Graphics

AMD APUs are very underpowered in CPU-based performance, especially on laptops. So this would answer the question as to why the recording is skippy.

Is there any way I could get rid of the skipping, even if it means decreasing the video quality? Or changing priority of OBS in task manager?

Change the x264 preset to ultrafast and lower the resolution, but there's no guarantee it will do the trick given the specs of your laptop.
