So i have this problem:
When I'm playing games i have no laggs with, the stream preview and stream itself lag like hell. The boradcast settings are set to 30 FPS so I'm rather confused. The Display Capture is smooth though ;) So its Frame lags not internet.
But i have those aswell. Lagg issues but i have a 500k Internet and only set a Bitrate of 3000 :'(
System:
i7 3770k @ 3.5ghz but Overclocked to 4.2 ghz
16 GB RAM
GTX 680

Rest shouldnt be interesting.

If you dont want to download watch the logs here:

I have to admit, I have this problem with some games myself. The slight slowdown/stutter in the preview always translates to the recorded video, and is always exactly the same regardless of capture method. Window capture, game capture, capture card, etc..

However, it does always appear to be with more modern games, so it could be a CPU limitation. That's something I'll be able to test soon.

OP: Which games are you trying to capture that have this problem?

I have this problem too. I made my own thread just to make more people aware of it.
I have an i5-4590 @ 3.3GHz and a Gigabyte GTX 960. I was about to try streaming (CS:GO lowest settings) but the preview is already lagging and sloppy. I tried other games such as L4D2 and Dota 2. Both at reasonable settings (100fps+) and there's no changes. Gameplay on the main monitor is good, but the preview on OBS and Stream itself is laggy/sloppy.

Be careful with high frame rates, though. As Mroczny_Gustaw said, OBS doesn't like being fed too many frames, since it can overload things and cause performance issues with it. Best to either cap the frame rate, or enable vsync.

I do that and have the issue regardless, though, so that might not be the problem for you. I'm going to do some testing now and see if I can find a bottleneck.

I turned on V-Sync. Still have the same issue.
