Question / Help Game Capture now causes GPU to shoot up

I used to have no problem using Game Capture for streaming/recording FTL and Metro 2033. Now I'm having problems. My GPU usage sky rockets and there is stuttering in FTL. It's just a black screen for Metro2033 or stuck on the menu screen. I've updated my nvidia drivers, ran obs as administrator, dropped FPS to 30 and lowered resolution to little to no effect. However, window capture on FTL works fine - but I can't window capture 2033 (it doesn't give me the option to when setting up the scene in OBS).

Any help would be appreciated.

My suggestion: Turn of Win10 Game DVR, remove those multiple game_capture sources and leave just one game_capture source (auto detection) in the scene and try again.
Also make sure, the game runs with an fps limit (not sure if FTL itself can be set to use vsync or be capped at 60fps).

Thanks. Didn't even know that DVR was a thing. Turned it off and there was a new nvidia update today and downloaded that. Still get high gpu for FTL (does have a vsync setting). Readjusted settings in OBS and still got stuttering in FTL but Metro got back to working.

On a whim, removed the beta patch in FTL and stuttering is completely gone from game capture. So looks like everything is back to normal.
