Question / Help Game Capture not Working

I am getting a black screen no matter what game I try to run. I can get the full monitor to record, but get a black screen with the game capture. Any help would be appreciated.

Your log shows that you're trying to use Game Capture on Chrome and Nester. Game Capture does not work on regular applications. Please make sure that you've set Game Capture to a game before trying to record, then post a new log with Game Capture targeting an actual game.

Do you mean that you see a black screen in the OBS Studio preview, or that the resulting media file shows it as black? Is the game running fullscreen? If you meant it shows black in the preview, did you alt-tab to check it? If so, don't do that - Game Capture can't capture fullscreen apps that are not in focus, and (I think) it can break the Game Capture hook if you alt-tab.
