So i usually only play one game per streaming session so this issue doesn't arise to often. however when it does it is VERY annoying.
Basically, tonight for an example, i started stream playing some MCC and game capture hooked it fine with my hotkey like usual. Worked the entire time i streamed the game. Then i exited the game and opened wow classic. Game capture refused to capture wow classic. i was going to use display capture but it locks my game at 60fps and gives me a very laggy experience. the only way ive ever gotten it to fix is to restart obs and thus, the stream.
In the logs you can see that it tries to hook wow classic over and over but after each try it for some reason just says "capture stopped". theres a lot of useless stuff in the log as i just kept trying over and over, creating a new game capture source and deleting the old one, trying to capture the wow classic window specifically, and then trying it after ending the stream but not restarting obs, etc. everything resulted in the same loop of hooking wow classic then capture stopped after.
not sure whats going on but it is very frustrating. As i know wow classic works fine with game capture. i streamed it solely for a month and a half or so with no issue. it only happens when i try to switch games. and doesnt seem to matter which game i switch to as this has happened before back when i played apex and other games more. Any help is appreciated! i will have to try and test without streaming if i can recreate the same problem every time i switch a game with game capture. and then test any solutions anyone might have that way. Thanks so much!
