so i have a gaming laptop; gtx1070 8gb, 16gb ram, i76700hq, windows 10 64bit and intel HD graphics 530.
i can play games fine with the laptop, for example wildlands at 75fps. but as soon as i open OBS(i dont start streaming or recording, just opening) the games fps drops to 40s and 50s.
i use game capture and noticed that when multi adapter compatibility is checked it drops the fps. but unchecking multi adapter compatibility it just shows a black screen on obs studio(though the games fps goes back to normal). so i think my problem is something to do with multi adapter compatibility. im so confused. i tried different encoding and (un)checking multi adapter compatibility for each one but it doesnt work. its always a black screen if its unchecked and low fps when it is checked.
the log is from the last time i streamed, so multi adapter compatibility was on but my frames were super low.
what is going on here? any insight please?
