Question / Help game capture hates me

so when i try to record anything using game capture it is at first stuck in the top let corner as a red circle. if i press ctrl+f it does make it moveable again but its all black. before you say it its nothing to do with my nvidia settings, i dont have nvidia this laptop is like 10 years old
