Hello those whom may be concerned with my issue. I first want to apologize for the odd title, I couldn't think of a better way to put it at the time.

I think it would be best if I were to be straight to the point regarding this issue.

I am currently trying to "Game Capture" on a laptop, specifically using the setting "Capture specific window". I select the window of the game that I desire to capture, only to find that I seem to be only capturing a black screen. I have attempted to record and review my records to see that I indeed am only capturing a black screen and my own audio. I have placed the latest log below.

I should note that I have attempted somewhat of what was stated on this following thread.

https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/laptop-black-screen-when-capturing-read-here-first.5965/

Some of this I did find confusing, though I will try to explain what I have attempted from it.
I went into my Graphics settings through windows and placed OBS graphics preference to High performance.
Both my Power saving GPU and High performance GPU are running on Intel(R) HD Graphics 520.

The further information I read on which may be relevant to my issue..

Further information:
If you are using a laptop, you may run into capture issues (black screen). This is because most laptops have more than one graphics adapter.

I did find to be a little confusing, though if I am correct, my laptop is not running off other graphics adapters. If possible, I would not mind assistance if I mistaken here.

I hope the information I have place here has been of some assistance, I was in a rush at the time of this typing, so do I apologize if I leave any confusion behind me in this thread.

Thank you for your time.

You don't have an extra "High performance GPU", you just have one GPU - the iGPU of your Intel processor. Thus your system should behave like a desktop PC with one GPU and the knowledge article about black screens on laptop doesn't apply.

Having said that, I cannot say why you're getting a black screen. According to previous discussions (google for "runescape obs"), this game client should just work with OBS. With game capture as you tried. In case you run Runescape as admin, try running OBS as admin as well. And to see if capturing works in general, try display capture instead of game capture. This will capture your desktop instead of the specific game, but you will see if capturing works in general.
