Question / Help Game Capture Black Screen

Hey guys, new here..
I was wondering, I know there is a problem with OBS and the creators update which I have 64 bit, my question is, when recording in display capture does youtube down grade the video?
In other words does display capture have the same level of quality when recording games as game capture?

Quality should be the same I believe. YouTube will unfortunately always downgrade the quality somewhat but you can run some local test with doing a recording with Display Capture and one with Game Capture, preferably the same sequence or part of the game) and then watch both the recordings using VLC or whatever your video player of choice is. Either way, YouTube will not know what capture method you have used so YT is out of the equation here.

Problem is game capture doesn't work, just a black screen so I can't test it, but if display is as good video quality then I won't worry about it..
