Question / Help Game and OBS are lagging when I try to Record

My OBS lags when I try to record a game like League of Legends, My Games becomes very choppy also on the preview and recording as well.

You have to give us a little bit more information about your situation! The best is to post a logfile while of your stream/record.

What does your setup look like? CPU, GPU, RAM, Windows and what are your OBS Settings??

GeForce GTX 1060 3GB
Windows 10 Pro

I was trying to record Osu! a bit less game that i get over 240FPS and whenever i record game becomes laggy as hell the OBS also becomes laggy

That's insane.

You should look for proper settings for your hardware.
 
Btw, for anyone wondering, Osu! is a game that Nvenc excels at encoding-wise.

I would look at trying to limit your in-game framerate. You're letting it run wild with GPU usage, which is forcing OBS to have very little resources for frame building... especially with a game like Osu, which uses the exact same 2d scaling pipelines that OBS does. Unfortunately I'm not familiar with the graphics settings in Osu, and I'm not about to tell you to turn on vsync since that's probably going to be unplayable.

I would look into frame limiting methods @BK-Morpheus recommended recently. I'm not sure if the Nvidia profile inspector will pick up Osu! to have its own profile, but it's absolutely worth a shot.
