I've just recently started using OBS over SimpleScreenRecorder cause of now being on Wayland in Plasma. The first couple of times when I installed it I was able to adjust it so when I did a recording of my desktop and played back the video there were no black borders around the video. I on a recent install of Garuda Linux and no matter what I do I always have the black borders in the finished video. I think it may have to do with the fact that under display configuration my resolution is 3840 x 2160 and I have it scaled to 150% (5760 x 3420).
