So, I'm at my wits end here. I've been streaming for a while now, albeit not consistently, and never had any issues until I woke up yesterday. When I launch OBS and any game, all seems well. I go to my stream and it's frozen still so long as I'm in my game. If I alt-tab out of any game, the stream skips around and catches right back up running smooth as can be. I go back into game, and BOOP! Frozen stream. I've confirmed this with friends and even tried other software. Sadly, other programs seem to let me stream just fine... I would use them instead but I love my OBS and I WANTZ IT BAK! Anyway, here's my system Specs (with temps while streaming Overwatch where applicable)
Motherboard: ASUS M5A97 PLUS
Processor: AMD FX 8300 3.3gHz (29c)_
CPU Cooling: CM Hyper 212 EVO
Memory: x2 DDR3 8 gig kit 1866mHz
Graphics: AMD R9 290x Reference
GPU Cooling: Corsiar Hydro H55 (51c)
Network speeds are 60 down, 5 up.
The issue persists regardless of the encoder I use or the Target Bitrate. Suggestions?
