Hi there,
I have a PC with an elgato 4k60 Pro MK.2 internal card. My mac is Mojave 10.14.6. The basic question is is it possible to capture in OBS via an HDMI connection at all?
If so, should I use a usb-c2hdmi adaptor to go from Mac to PC?
I'm currently attempting this, sort of, with a USB-C QGeeM 4 port multifunctional converter.
In OBS (on PC):
Video capture device (**No Signal!**)
Elgato Game Capture HD
Input device?!: PC ? Other?
Profile? HD1080
On Mac
4k60 Pro MK.2 is seen in display preferences
Set to "Best for.."
30 Hertz (NTSC)
Source never gets past "One moment please"
I saw a post that I might need an HDMI splitter to bipass HDCP? Is this true, even for just streaming my terminal/screen?
Thanks for the noob help,
M
