Freezing. Not Crashing. Just Freezing. Please help, it might be quite obvious but I'm not getting it.

I've just installed OBS, and it seems to not matter what I click but within about 20 seconds it will freeze. If I get a stream going in that time the stream continues fine, but the application is unresponsive (red highlight over the close still works, and I can still move and resize the window with the top bar). I've reinstalled it 3 times now, with the auto settings and without, and then clicking "Run as administrator" every chance I get.
