Hi,
i tried OBS under FreeBSD and it runns for about 5 minutes.

System:
Intel i7-4700MQ
Nvidia GK208M [GeForce GT 730M]

I installed only the Metapackage. I don't know what else to install or config.
I have for Codec 'Software (x264)' and it is the only option.

A kernel panic means (99% of the time in this context) that a driver (usually the GPU driver, but it could be something else...like a bad NIC driver, using some 3rd party trash SATA ports to record to a drive hooked up to one of them, USB drivers that aren't up to snuff, etc.) is crashing and bringing the system down. The last thing that comes to mind is that your CPU might be overheating.

Best to grab that kernel panic info and talk to the FreeBSD devs about the error and what subsystem is failing.
