Frames start dropping on every recording like clockwork. I have tried absolutely everything.....

If anyone can solve this I will be extremely grateful.

I have been battling with this issue for weeks now, thought I had it sorted and its back again.

I don't seem to have too many issues recording H.264 but HEVC HDR is becoming an absolute nightmare.

I have tried all kinds of settings, different CQP levels, different presets, turning off Psycho and look ahead. Multipass mode to single etc.

I have tried different Nvidia drivers for my GPU, different versions of OBS, updated my SSD firmware. Every time I try to record a clip using HEVC even If I have performance set to fast like clockwork I will get a period in the video, usually at the 5-6 minute mark where the FPS absolutely tanks. After 10-20 seconds or so it completely resolves and back to normal. The stats page never says I have dropped or skipped frames, CPU stays very low and GPU is around 60-70% Time to render is around 2.5, the overall bit rate of the file is around 140mb and below.

For the last couple of days I did somehow get it to resolve but I have no idea how, whether it was just pure chance and have no idea why its returned.

GPU scheduling is off, I have max frame rate limiter off in Nvidia control panel and have Vsync turned on, game mode on.

I'm using a live gamer capture card recording Xbox footage at 4K 60, I was getting stuttering a few weeks ago but resolved that by making sure the fps on everything was set to 59.94 and turning on Vsync. I don't seem to get any issues when using RECentral. I have attached my log and below is a link tp the video which starts exhibiting the issue at the 5:00 minute mark. It is normally much worse and last for longer which may have happened but my game decided to crash. https://youtu.be/Gw_ZeHZ2UuI. Could Vsync actually be causing the frame drops?
