Hello all,
Have been experiencing vary degrees of frame drops over the past two to three weeks. Currently, I have no way to access a wired connection, and my ISP WiFi router providers had to be replaced five times so I purchased a Nighthawk R7000P in order to have a stable internet connection and a stable upload. After the purchase and installation my internet has typically been great, my upload speeds had been around 25-30MBs, and download in the low 100MBs. My upload recently has tanked to around 5-10MBs, called the ISP, it may be an area of service issue that will eventually be solved (but who knows). In the end, it's quite frustrating, but manageable to stream on the lower upload bitrate of 2500 (I think).
I thought that maybe it might be a good idea to hit up the forums and see if there's anything I can do on the OBS end of things. I've tweaked settings, changed encoders, changed bitrates, servers, etc, and I'm still dropping frames like crazy. Around 50-51%. I've considered that my hardware might be the issue but I still game on it pretty regularly with no hiccups.
Anyhow, I'll be posting a few log files and hopefully someone can provide me with some assistance/answers.
