Opening/important information: I recently downloaded the latest version of nvidia drivers (384.76) and the latest version of OBS Studio. My PC specs are shown in screenshots I add to the post, but here are basically what they are - intel i7-4790k, GTX 960, 8GB DDR3 RAM.
About a year ago I used OBS and Minecraft and they worked just fine. Minecraft was able to run with and without shaders always over 60 fps, usually over 120. I decided I wanted to record on it again and downloaded all of the newest software/drivers I needed. I have been experiencing numerous problems that I thought would be somewhat answered on here. First screenshot - So without shaders on a regular world without adding the game capture to OBS studio, I got over 500 fps constantly. The second screenshot is when I added minecraft to game capture in OBS Studio. The fps stayed at around 60 fps never going over and even sometimes going under, but 90% of the time it was exactly 60 fps. The third screenshot is when I got rid of the game capture and closed out of OBS Studio. I experienced the same results as I did with it being open. I did some research and concluded that it might be the new drivers, but I wanted to get some input. I have never really seen results like this before.
The first screenshot was taken at 8:55pm, the last 2 were taken at 8:56pm, and the last log file I had said 8:56pm, so I decided to include another log file that was before the latest one.
Thanks for reading!
